S3 is looking for a financial analyst to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This is an opportunity to work in a faced paced environment in support of a new program award. Primary responsibilities will include cost and schedule control and analysis, earned value reporting, EAC preparation and program forecasting. Other responsibilities include coordination and collection of data, analysis of data for financial accuracy and trends, preparation of internal and external financial reporting and analysis of backlog. Additionally, the individual will develop program budgets, review actual costs, independently ensure company policies are followed and financial discipline is maintained, and frequently perform ad-hoc analysis. Ability to analyze and effectively communicate earned value data to internal and external customers as well as partner and be flexible with other functions to meet business expectations is needed.

Individual will partner with the Program Manager and CAM’s/IPTL’s, as well as other functions such as contracts and supply chain, to drive the successful execution and closure of programs. This includes proper Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation, i.e., baseline generation, maintenance, variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting and actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule and providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the projects.In addition, the position is responsible for earned value updates, utilization of PMX tool suite, updates to BPS non-firm planning. This is a unique opportunity to join the team at program inception for the new International F-15 International award.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·Perform SAP Earned Value Internal Reporting.

·Request and review weekly / monthly variance analysis prepared by IPT(s).

·Work with PM and IPTL’s to baseline new programs in accordance with Raytheon policies.

·Use PMX to create and maintain Gate 5 artefacts including the Secondary Work Authorizations, WBS Dictionary, Program Log, and Responsibility Accountability Matrix.

·Prepare charts and present financial data at weekly Program Performance Reviews.

·Run monthly RIVR comparisons in PMX and make corrections where necessary to ensure alignment.

·Support quarterly EAC process and prepare and review EACs with appropriate management levels.

·Support unbilled collection analysis and activities for the business.

Required Skills:

·Minimum 2 years of related finance experience; MUST be a U.S. Citizen

·Understanding and application of finance principles, concepts, practices, and standard knowledge of industry practices

·Proactive, creative and innovative in solving problems and issues

·Ability to plan and manage daily tasks, analyze, provide results and recommend solutions to management

·Excellent personal computer skills including a high level of proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Desired Skills:

·Experience with SAP APEX Earned Value and PMX

·Experience in interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, etc.) in program development and execution

·Earned value analysis (SPI/CPI/TCPI/IEAC/VAR)

·New contract set-up experience

·Shows initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis

·Works under general direction and participates in determining objectives of assignment plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives after training period

·Ability to quickly master Business Systems

·Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline.
