Description

  • Design, develop, debug, integrate, test and sustain ground equipment hardware solutions and drawings that supports systems, subsystems and unit level elements of the spacecraft/vehicle throughout its entire design life cycle which include operations/sustainment and end of life phases. 
  • They work closely with the Software, Aerospace and Systems Engineers to determine the correct requirements and equipment specifications to accommodate the flight spacecraft/vehicle. 
  • Documents and works to resolve all complex electrical engineering problems. 
  • Develops electrical solutions to ensure that all Aerospace Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and services meet organization standards and customer requirements.  
  • Will participates in engineering artifact reviews to determine if engineering drawings correspond to Aerospace Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
  • Follows released hardware development process and participates in engineering reviews.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 
  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
  • Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Secret
  • Clearance Level To Obtain: Top Secret (TS)
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, or four (4) years of a demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to specific technical disciplines of the SOW. 
  • In addition, five (5) years of experience in the areas of electrical design and engineering. 
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and design project work to meet project objectives and requirements. 
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing industry standard Computer Aided Design (CAD) products (i.e. AutoCAD) for documenting system designs. 
  • This includes experience developing technical data packages and documentation in accordance with DoD standards and instruction.
