This position is responsible for the sustainment of IA Releases, Cyber TPs and C2BMC/TSS builds in the NT labs. Tasks include: installing, deploying, and unit testing security patches for applicable COTS software applications; Group Policy; STIG configurations; hardening of Operating Systems (both Windows and Linux); Cyber Products (e.g., HBSS, ACAS, ArcSight, TFA, BigFix, Endgame, KMS, etc.). Providing redlines to COS engineers and feedback to Cyber Leadership will be required as part of the Cyber Integrator's responsibilities. Documenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards will be required in daily tasks as well.

The position requires a strong knowledge of Information Assurance technology and DoD information assurance system certification. Requires hands-on experience utilizing patch management, scanning & auditing, security event monitoring, host-based security and multi-factor tools in an integrated lab environment. Experience hardening Windows and Linux servers and workstations is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills are required with a demonstrated ability to support complex organizational relationships. Excellent technical document preparation skills and verbal communications are required for presentation of technical Information Assurance issues and reports to senior government and military officials.
Technical Skill Required:
The position requires the following security engineering skills: technical trouble shooting of software applications and integrating COTS products, data analytics of system vulnerabilities and mission impacts, and risk mitigation resulting in system accreditation. Must have working knowledge of implementing DISA STIGs and GPOs. Experience with system development lifecycle utilizing Risk Management Framework (RMF) is a plus.
C2BMC experience is required.
Required - Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent years of experience. Required - DoDI 8570 certification (e.g., GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP).
Travel is required between Huntsville and Colorado Springs to support meetings and work with distributed functional personnel. Travel may be necessary for operational sites as well.
