Operations Finance is seeking a Manager II Financial Analysis to join our team in the Dallas Expressway Site. This role is the financial planning leader reporting to the Manager of Operations Financial Planning, Budgets & Rates. This is a dual-fitted role, responsible for all areas within FP&A. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

  • Providing multi-site financial planning and control services
  • Working closely with program finance, accounting, program management, and SAS Financial Planning
  • Applying generally accepted accounting methods
  • Generating reports on Bookings, Sales, Profit and Cash
  • Tracking and reporting NBI and IR&D costs to budget while making sure that all financial and compliance requirements are met.

Integral to these responsibilities will be the oversight of the SAS Operations balance sheet, and the compliance and accounting of transactions within an Intercompany IOT environment. Additional responsibilities include working closely with Operations and Finance management to develop, prepare and communicate the 5 year and Annual Operating Plan.

This position will also assist the Organization with all aspects of Capital: Compliance, Strategy, Budgeting, Business Case Analysis, Expenditures, and Reporting.
  • Analyzing individual Appropriation Requests, ensuring each project scope is reviewed to confirm compliance to company policy and generally accepted accounting principles
  • Validating the project justifications and business cases adequately define both the operating requirement and project’s financial benefits to the company
  • Analysis of actual trends and forecasts
  • Ensuring that the SAS capital forecasts are consistent and the risk and opportunities are well understood by all parties
  • Facilitating the annual Capital budgeting process

Required Skills:

  • 10 years related work experience
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Rplan, Business Warehouse, Business Analyzer
  • Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Familiarity with IOT accounting and related processes
  • Experience and demonstrated proficiency in providing financial leadership and business support in all aspects of defense contracting
  • Experience and demonstrated proficiency in strategic business acumen
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:

  • Organizational skills in coordinating results across a multi-site reporting structure.
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Accounting, Operations, Engineering, etc)
  • Communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries
  • Experience and demonstrated proficiency in developing innovative processes and continuous improvement
  • Experience in organizing, preparing and presenting briefings to customers, management and peers
  • Individual must be a self-starter and an independent worker

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
