Raytheon is seeking a Cyber Security Manager to provide support and expertise in all areas of Cyber security technologies, tools, and security principles and governance.
The CS manager will serve as the fundamental expert on all areas of cybersecurity protection, detection, response and recovery, mitigation, and accreditation of Enclaves and individual systems. The CS manager's responsibilities will vary tremendously based on the size of the team, the size and depth of the enclave(s) supported, the customer’s operational and critical information availability. The manager will be assigned multiple tasks and function providing expert support in all areas of Cybersecurity and Information Systems.
The CS Manager provides direct technical expertise and provides advisory and support to USARCENT, and will strive to improve ARCENT’s Cyber Security and Information Security posture to respond to the rapidly evolving Cyber Security threats and security developments. The manager will provide information security subject matter expertise and will provide best business practices and will also provide an expert business acumen to work collaboratively with the Raytheon team and the customer to advise, design, build and implement pragmatic security solutions.
The CS Manager will direct assigned staff in the evaluation of risks and threats, development of mitigations, implementation of mitigation controls, communication across multiple organizational elements, operation and testing of security control implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the information security technologies and toolsets. The manager will ensure that system security configuration guidelines and policies are followed, ensure that Cyber Security requirements are integrated into the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) and ensure that Cyber Security requirements are appropriately identified in computer environment operation procedures.
The manager and team will monitor system performance and review and update for compliance with Cyber security and privacy requirements within the computer environment and ensure that IA inspections, tests, and reviews are coordinated across functional departments and organizations. This position will require the candidate to travel and work at US military bases and camps within USARCENT Area of Responsibility. The successful candidate will be a demonstrated self-starter with the ability to independently resolve problems, perform effectively in a fast paced environment, maintain high quality work, manage multiple critical projects, perform effectively in a team oriented environment and communicate effectively with a diverse group of Engineers, System and Network Administrators, as well as the user and customer base.
