FTI has an opportunity to work on a ground breaking high profile program for the USAF.   We are working to find talented individuals for The Light Attack Aircraft Program Office.  The Product Support Logistician – Equipment role will support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Plans and Programs Directorate (AFLCMC/XP-OZ) by providing in-depth support equipment, technical data and logistics acquisition and sustainment program management expertise. 

 

The ideal candidate has outstanding initiative, is versatile with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and is capable and comfortable supporting multiple customers in a dynamic, collaborative, multi-tasking, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule. 

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Supports the Light Air Attack Program Product Support Manager as the support equipment and technical data matter expert
  • Leads lifecycle support equipment and technical data sustainment planning for the Light Air Attack Program post-Milestone C weapon system, addressing support equipment and technical data management concepts, sustainment key performance parameters, and key system attributes required to fulfill warfighter mission requirements
  • Develops support equipment and technical data management strategy and relevant portions of the Lifecycle Sustainment Plan, ensuring integration and linkage with other program documentation/requirements such as the Acquisition Strategy, Concept of Operations, Data Management Strategy, Depot Source of Repair Analysis, Independent Logistics Assessment and Business Case Analysis Reports, and Lifecycle Cost Estimates
  • Assists in planning, organizing, completing, and presenting assessments for program/project management concepts to include cost/schedule/performance, analyses, studies and procedures

 

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship is required.  Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain/retain the designated Government clearance.
  • Extensive support equipment and/or technical data management experience supporting DoD weapons system acquisition or sustainment programs

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor Degree Preferred
  • 15+ years’ USAF support equipment and/or technical data management experience
  • APDP Life Cycle Logistics Level II+
  • Acquisition Program Management Office experience
  • Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Independent Logistics Assessment (ILA) and Business Case Analysis (BCA) experience
