About the Role
The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for the Coordination and Service Delivery of capital and minor works across a dedicated client portfolio. You will work with the client Property Services Team in the delivery of these programs. These works will encapsulate a broad mix of minor and some larger projects which will range in size and complexity. Projects will include upgrades to HVAC, power and/or data, through to planning of painting programmes, carpet upgrades as well as refurbishments and fit-outs. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing subcontractors and third-party suppliers and ensuring all related OH&S compliance requirements are met.
What You Will Do
Coordination of the minor and capital works program for both major and minor works, this includes scrutinising the scope of work to accurately describing the proposed work and benefits, risks and budget costs
Project Manage activities as required across key phases - briefing, solutions designing, recommendation, approval and project planning
Assist in project review and annual planning and forecasting process, in addition to the quarterly schedule development, review, business endorsement and approval
Providing support to the National Project Manager – Capital works on all issues relating to reporting, minor works and projects
Provide advice and support to clients on projects, facilitate and develop a working relationship to ensure the service is delivered in a collaborative manner
Implement procurement strategies and source suitable suppliers to support program delivery
Control induction and supervision of subcontractors and third party’s for the delivery of all minor works and projects
Manage risk associated with project delivery and environmental sustainability standards, ensuring initiatives are carried out as per legislate or regulatory compliance
Provide advice and support to client key stakeholders, facilitate and develop a working relationship to ensure the service is delivered in a collaborative manner
About You
Extensive experience in coordinating major and minor works projects
Experience in developing and implementing minor works programmes
Project delivery experience or background
Extensive excel and Project Management Software experience
