SAIC has an opening for a .NET Software Developer in Richmond, Virginia. This role is in support of Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation (Enhanced), ULLS-A(E), which is the current Army Aviation maintenance software.
Job Description: As a Software Developer you will support a software development team that provides software sustainment activities to enhance and support Army Aviation maintenance activities worldwide.
Development of system requirements and specifications,
Development of new software development, system integration, compliance with Information Assurance policies and requirements, systems level formal qualification and regression testing of software applications.
Coordination and integration between multiple vendors’ software.
Writing and maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICD) and Application Programming Interfaces (API’s) for existing and newly developed software.
Development is in a Microsoft Windows environment utilizing Visual Studio.
Required Education, Experience, and Clearance
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a recognized engineering discipline or related technical field is required.
5+ years of related experience is required.
Candidate must currently have a SECRET security clearance.
Experience taking user requirements and developing them into system requirements.
Experience developing software systems using the Microsoft VB.NET and C# languages and a working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
Candidate must have experience using Team Foundation Server.
Working knowledge of SAP, Java Messaging, CodeSmith generator, and the Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML).
Experience developing and integrating Windows applications to include utilization of web services and database technologies.
Knowledge of Army Aviation maintenance regulations, policies, processes and data is a plus.
