USfalcon, Inc., recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking a Project Engineer (AF TENCAP) to work at Schriever AFB, CO.
SUMMARY: Provides Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (AFTENCAP) professional engineering, technology development and project management support including technical assessment, planning, experimentation, demonstration, and prototyping of national to tactical intelligence systems capabilities including tactical sensor integration and multi-sensor SIGINT, ELINT, and GEOINT/OPIR fusion in direct support of warfighter requirements to enhance USAF and Joint warfighting capability. Provide engineering and system integration support to AF TENCAP project initiation, planning, execution, transition and close out activities.
CONUS travel may be required.
Responsible for providing engineering support to programs, systems development efforts, acquisition, and research and development technology initiatives involving the application of US National System capabilities in support of war-fighter requirements. Requires strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and working knowledge of RF based electronic systems to include both communications and radar sensors systems.
Work with government and contractor program managers to provide engineering oversight for various tasks including planning, programming, budgeting, scheduling, financial management execution, contracting, cost/risk analysis, and logistics planning.
Monitor and enforce compliance to applicable codes, practices, quality assurance and control policies, performance standards and specifications for engineering design. Review engineering deliverables and initiate or recommend corrective actions as appropriate.
Leverage current and emerging technologies to enhance national capabilities of US, joint fighter, bomber, attack, C2ISR, aircraft and munitions capabilities. Facilitate the transition of these capabilities, innovative concepts, technologies, and processes to the war-fighter through the execution of project proof of concept demonstrations, rapid prototyping, testing and integration of quick reaction capabilities.
Provide support by performing research on potential shortfalls of multiple systems associated with national systems and support AF TENCAP in identifying and evaluating current technologies for potential application against validated shortfalls/requirements.
Provide engineering support to project evaluations, project proof of concept demonstrations, prototyping, testing and project quick reaction capabilities and facilitate the integration of operational systems into those projects.
Support managing technical and special security activities, oversee technical cost, performance, and project schedule metrics of other contractor activities in the performance of AFTENCAP associated tasks and projects.
Support transition and program integration activities; support transitioning of capabilities and technologies projects to other organizations, and advise the Government of the need, implications and technical actions required to achieve transition.
Additional duties as assigned.
A minimum of three (3) yearsâ?? experience with intelligence support involving: SIGINT, ELINT, COMINT, IMINT, MASINT, NRO ground station operations, USAF kinetic weapon systems or Special Operations.
Previous professional Acquisition experience (Acq 101, 201, etc.) for any level.
Professional Engineering (PE) certificate is desired.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Business AA, from an accredited institution.
Clearance: Active Top Secret w/SCI eligibility.
