Job Description Raytheon is seeking a Principal Logistics Specialist to work at our Springfield location. The successful applicant will have a background in supply chain management and be the subject matter expert for Property Management at our location. Responsibilities include controlling the flow of materials and information from origin through delivery in order to meet our customer’s requirements. The applicant will ensure the execution and continuous improvement of stand logistics processes, such as replenishment systems, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration, warehouse operations and related functions. Occasional travel required.
Candidate must possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
Minimum six (6) years of relevant logistics experience;
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds;
Ability to work in restricted mobility areas and confined spaces;
Compliance with Raytheon’s Silica Monitoring Program
Willingness to apply for Raytheon’s Non-Commercial & DOT Driving Programs
Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare written training documentation;
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint).
Certified Property Professional Administrator (CPPA) through the National Property Management Association (NPMA);
Hands-on experience such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical assembly;
Ability to read and understand conceptual drawings or blueprints;
Military or special operations experience.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance as of day one of employment. 128625
