Job Description:

The software developer will work as part of a highly technical team of professionals who are responsible for all architectural design, development and deployment of cost effective and sustainable technical and application solutions to meet business requirements. Strong organizational skills, managing competing priorities, technical expertise and attention to detail are key in this customer-focused role. The Software developer will be an integral member of our team and will be tasked with application improvement/development in the AWS cloud based environment through common development languages/tools such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and java. 


Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience. Four additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant hands-on experience including object oriented analysis, design and development of web-based applications.

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant hands-on experience in developing applications using Java and spring framework.

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant hand on experience using CSS, HTML, javascript, jQuery and Angular JS.

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant hands-on experience developing in an Agile environment.

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in developing, deploying and debugging applications in AWS.

  • Solid understanding of industry best practices for delivering and supporting Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Must have strong oral and communication skills (speak fluent English) and experience interacting with senior leaders within an organization. 


Desired Qualifications

  • AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification is a big plus.

  • Experience in 508 compliance is a plus.

  • Prior Federal government experience is a plus.


Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be able to obtain a NACI clearance.

Length of assignment: This position has an initial period of funding through June 2019, with potential extension.
