Raytheon Pasadena is looking for a User Interface Designer to help support exciting work as part of a human-centered design group to enable mission operations engineers to command spacecraft and scientists to understand remote sensing data that will be used to plan scientific campaigns.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the development of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) applications used for mission design and operations
  • Assist in the design interactions and interfaces for the new applications
  • Demonstrating the end product to new teams and assist in driving adoption through continued improvement

Education / Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of related experience

Required Skills

  • Knowledge and experience with 3D Modeling and visualization using Unity, Unreal or similar tools
  • Experience with User Experience (UX) Design
  • Experience with developing AR and VR applications
  • Must have the ability to be flexible and have the ability to multi-task
  • Software development background using languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python, C/C++
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of software build cycles
  • Software testing knowledge
  • Experience with graphics analysis tools
  • Experience with computer vision algorithm and applications
