The candidate will be working in Factory Operations Production Control, supporting various manufacturing roles and applications, duties will include: Learn and utilize manufacturing systems in support of daily production operations. Utilize manufacturing systems to plan and execute production programs. Learn and utilize metrics that track efficiency, quality and factory health trends. Participate in R6Sigma process improvement initiatives. Work on systemic issues facing Operations, develop and implement lean solutions.

Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules / changes; Evaluates and coordinates program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements. Statuses work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, programs, logistics, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.

Required Skills:

  • Six years’ experience in Operations Production/Inventory Control/Supply Chain and material management policies and processes
  • The ability to interface with multiple levels of management in an IPT environment and effective communication skills
  • The ability to interact with internal and external customers with respect to product/material planning, problem resolution and process improvement
  • High computer literacy with confidence and skill working Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, OneNote, and Access)
  • Demonstrated experience in PRISM, VM/iMRO, APEX & SAP
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives in a demanding environment, understanding complex systems and processes
  • Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Required Education: BS / BA from an accredited four-year university with major in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline 128002
