Raytheon IIS/GIS provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community

Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS) is seeking a highly motivated and adaptive Technical Team Lead with experience managing highly technical teams in an enterprise environment responsible for overseeing the day-to-day technical operations necessary to conduct Assessment and Authorization (A&A) according to the NIST RMF, metric consolidation, data parsing, and validation of ingested of IT security audit information utilizing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools such as RSA NetWitness and HP ArcSight. This position will be filled in the Dulles, Virginia location.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct collection, consolidation, de-confliction, and dissemination of metric for multiple systems providing information systems security related audit information to the SIEM tool
  • Assist with overseeing the day-to-day technical functions of a team of Cyber Security professionals and provide feedback as appropriate to the program functional lead on the most advantageous employment of available resources
  • Provide innovative technical solutions to complex problems that maximize resources and personnel available in order to facilitate the system design, documentation, deployment, testing and integration of enterprise IT audit capabilities.
  • Attend and provide input to Technical Exchange Meetings (TEM) and assist with the generation, review, and maintenance of knowledge articles, process documentation, and SOPs for a variety of related customer directed activities
  • Serve as an alternate Project Lead and perform additional duties and tasks as necessary and directed
  • Occasional travel is required
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years of applicable experience in similar roles – OR – a minimum of 16 years equivalent experience in-lieu of a degree
  • Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program (DoD 8570) IAT Level qualifying certification or higher (e.g. current Security+ CE)
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Experience supporting RSA NetWitness or similar SIEM tool suite deployments for audit event collection in complex, disjointed enterprise environments and collection of associated metrics for process development, and archival purposes
  • 8 or more years of experience performing computer systems administration and troubleshooting in a multi-platform, enterprise-level environment
  • 4 or more years of experience with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) A&A process
  • 2 or more years effectively managing diverse teams of technical professionals and associated resources in order to meet assigned deadlines and productivity targets
  • Effective time management, resource allocation, team building, customer service, presentation, written, and oral communication skills skills in order to meet assigned deadlines
Desired Skills:
  • Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program (DoD 8570) IAT Level III qualifying certification (e.g. Current CISSP)
  • Experience providing Tier 3 support to enterprise customers for across multiple platforms
  • Familiarity with ACAS or similar technologies for compliance auditing and reporting
  • Familiarity with IP based networking, network support, and cloud technology concepts
  • Availability to work occasional overtime as required
