Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Job Description:

The 3rd shift Circuit Card Assembly Surface Mount Technology Team is looking for an engineering technician to provide production floor support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Position would be for technical floor support and coverage with a primary focus on the auto-insertion equipment and BGA rework cell. Day to day responsibilities would include solving floor issues as they arise; developing and improving processes that contribute to process improvement and affordability initiatives; developing programs and supporting automated insertion and BGA rework equipment. Other responsibilities will include creating process documentation for materials, processes, and equipment; and prepare and participate in internal and external audits.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance on date of hire. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

This is a 3rd shift position.

Required Skills:
  • (6)+ plus years of related manufacturing experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Security Clearance

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Through hole and Surface Mount Technology knowledge at a technical level
  • Good computer skills
  • Capable of clear and concise written and verbal communications
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to interface with represented workforce, product value stream engineering, operations personnel, vendors, maintenance techs, etc.
  • Technical problem solving
