Job Description:

 

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer: Verification and Validation Management The candidate will provide metrics development, collection of customer historical pattern-of-life and customer satisfaction metrics, and related analyses supporting User Engagement Support (UES) effort for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). The UES program provides: Training, Education and Exercise Support; NRO Enterprise Strategic Outreach; and User Engagement Outreach. UES enables users to leverage enterprise capabilities to solve operational and intelligence problems to influence system investment decisions to meet current and future needs. The major activities for UES are to understand user needs and identify capability gaps, deliver focused NRO solutions, provide training and education, provide users with visibility into and opportunities to influence NRO decisions, and to obtain user feedback.
 
Specific task areas for SAIC include:
  • Personnel Recovery - Combat Search and Rescue (PR-CASR)
  • Operational Performance Evaluation
  • User Engagement Outreach
 

The Senior Systems Engineer Verification and Validation Management will assist the mission responsibilities include by are not limited to:

Edit/format technical reports and operational testing and performance evaluation documents for language and technical content issues and prepare for publication.

 

Address completeness and accuracy of technical information and ensure contents reads logically at the proper level of complexity for the intended audience.

 

Create graphics to illustrate material and effectively convey technical information.

 

Prepare, edit, and coordinate systems engineering support documentation and technical reports in support of operational performance evaluations.

 

Conduct exercise evaluations to include end-to-end assessments of national systems and deliver after- action reports and final technical reports.

 

Conduct field evaluations and engineering test to include set-up and execution of test against operational.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 14 + years’ working in an operational environment and proficient in V&V practice/methodology.
  • Experience supporting IC customers and understanding of their mission/product needs and culture.
  • Experience in SIGINT systems and capabilities.
  • Must be a United States citizen.

 

Required Clearances:

  • Must possess TOP SECRET SCI (TS//SI//TK) clearances with adjudicated polygraph.
