The Program Integrator (PI) is a direct report to the Program Management Excellence (PMX) Core Program Support Directorate and matrixed to the Next Generation Combat Vehicle (NGCV) capture organization, which reports into Land Warfare System’s Soldier Systems Directorate. This position will support the wide range of activities associated with executing a large, complex, multi-year capture effort for the US Army’s $40B program to develop the backbone infantry fighting vehicle for its Armored Brigade Combat Team.
NGCV is a strategic priority for Raytheon and the capture organization is looking for a PI that can bring process rigor and organizational skills to the highly dynamicl pursuit. Key activities include but are not limited to 1) developing processes and methods for tracking and executing actions across a broad range of Capture IPTs; 2) managing a large NBI budget; 3) coordinating the relationship with Raytheon’s strategic partner, Rheinmetall of Germany; 4) work across the RMS and RTN enterprise to align the diverse interests and equities in the NGCV program; and 5) leading the staffing development to position for capture, proposal and program execution success.
The selected candidate is responsible for supporting Program Management Plans, processes, metrics and tools; recommending and implementing best practices as warranted by program execution situations; working directly with the Team of Five, the Core Program Team (CPS), the Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads and functional support personnel to lead day to day program execution and program battle rhythm. The Team of Five is composed of 5 leaders, each one from Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Program Management.
The PI takes day to day direction from the Program Manager to assist with managing and ensuring that program execution meets cost, schedule and technical performance requirements. In addition to developing, implementing and tracking key program metrics, the PI is responsible for ensuring consistent, coordinated and accurate reporting for the program. The PI works with program leadership to develop and document program strategies and plans, then monitors those plans to ensure successful completion. The PI is also expected to work closely with and influence the Team of Five and functional leads to ensure their efforts meet the technical and business needs of the program.
