Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Primary duties will include working in the Classified and Sensitive Material Management (CSMM) office in accordance with the requirements set forth in company policy, CSMM work instructions, NISPOM, NISPOM supplements, Executive Orders, ITAR and EAR.
  2. Maintaining control and accountability of classified documents/media, populating Access Commander with required information to ensure strict accountability/disposition of classified material
  3. Inspecting packages for tamper, receipt and dispatch of classified material via approved methods to include packing and shipping
  4. Processing Global Security Services Request System (GSSRS) requests.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Applicants will be considered for the Industrial Security Specialist I /G06 position or the Industrial Security Specialist II/ G07 position based on the candidates experience, skills & education as they relate to the role.

Required Skills, Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study or 8 years equivalent experience is required
  • Industrial Security Specialist I: Broad theoretical job knowledge with less than 2 years of professional experience
  • Industrial Security Specialist II: Practical knowledge with 2 years of professional experience, preferably in a similar role
  • This position requires a minimum of a current, final Secret security clearance with a current investigation date on the first day of employment. A current investigation is defined as an investigation not older than five years
  • Working knowledge of the NISPOM/NISPOM supplements
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain special access clearance
  • U.S Citizenship

Desired Education, Skills & Experience:

  • Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study
  • In depth working knowledge of classified document control processes to include: control and accountability of classified material, Access Commander software, Industrial Security knowledge
  • Knowledge of destruction requirements for classified material
  • Basic understanding of the following: Classified Visitor Control systems and NATO requirements for documents and media
  • Data management experience
  • Knowledge of classification marking requirements and caveats such as NATO, FGI, RD, CNWDI, etc.

Security Clearance: This position requires the successful issuance, transfer or maintenance of a Secret security Clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
