Partnering with functional and business area subject matter experts across Integrated Defense Systems (IDS), the successful candidate will analyze business processes and data sources to identify improvement opportunities, taking advantage of current analytics capabilities within the company to leverage these solutions to deliver data products. Partnering across the enterprise, the candidate will develop and implement data collection capabilities, apply statistical techniques to analyze results, and leverage reporting and data visualization tools to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality with an emphasis on prevention based approaches to reducing the cost of poor quality (CoPQ) in IDS products.

This role requires the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
·Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analytics, incorporating the lifecycle of solution design, implementation, and operations. Experience in one or more IT disciplines underlying data analysis such as database management, application development, solutions architecture, or IT infrastructure.
·Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant
~amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy, while keeping the big picture in mind
·Experience in data modeling, data mining and segmentation techniques
·Experience exhibiting a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness leveraging analytics tools to deliver business insight and enable automation of current manual data management processes– and developing analytic processes and references that represent best practices for both tactical and strategic applications
·Ability to turn data into information and knowledge that leads to targeted corrective action within Raytheon’s Operations’ Value Streams.
·Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and independently with individuals at various organizational levels
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical capabilities and processes, ensuring understanding of how they support business needs and close gaps
·Familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and business systems that support the functional and program areas
Familiarity with cloud computing environments and analytics products running within those environments (Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, IBM, Google, SAP Hana (etc.)
·Proven skills to work effectively across multi-disciplined areas in ambiguous situations
·Forward-leaning entrepreneurial experience and/or innovative thinking & approaches
·Experience with one or more analytics platforms (e.g. SAP Business Objects, BEx Analyzer, Tableau) and experience applying them in a solo and team setting to solve business needs and create value
·Experience with root Cause Analysis / FRACAS on Hardware failures that may have contributing factors from fabrication, procurement, and design
·Proven ability to proactively anticipate problems, collect and evaluate information from a number of sources, identifying key issues, recognizing the implications and likely interactions across multiple stakeholders, making and meeting commitments and working to maximize the outcomes across these stakeholders, with qualitative and/or quantitative business results.
