General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an opportunity for an Sr. Project Manager to join our on-site client-facing team. The successful candidate will have significant experience managing technical projects in an Agile environment, ideally within a large-scale IT infrastructure development environment.
Define and develop metrics to measure key indicators including value, efficiency and effectiveness
Track and report on the efforts of multiple project teams or technology functions
Participate in technical architecture and design discussions and provide technical guidance to the project teams.
Make recommendations of staffing and quality improvement initiatives
Develop and present program status / metrics to senior management
Identify roadblocks and propose effective solutions
We can only accept US citizens and or Green Card Holders. The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years and not have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days.
10+ years of related experience, including supervisory experience
5+ years of direct Project Management experience
2+ years of experience working on infrastructure projects including architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale enterprise infrastructure solutions
Exceptional communication, both oral and written
Technical background and experience with n-tier solutions including operating systems, middleware, web servers, desktop end points, and networking components
Knowledge of automation and orchestration solutions including Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Hands-on Ansible experience
