Candidate will be accustomed to Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T) processes, including the basic asset handling practices, material storage, developing new processes to support the PHS&T and supporting efforts to increase the inclusion of packaging considerations in all aspect of transportation and handling
Inspect for proper packaging for a full range of military and commercial off the shelf items with respect to the types of distribution and the Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS).
Conducted Transportation and Inventory Inquiry on parts and materials to insure proper packaging and correct grid or bin placement through lean inventory processes.
Exhibit the ability to supervise others to insure daily warehouse duties and cooperate safety rules are being followed.
Help other team members as part of the everyday routine.
Capable of operating Industrial equipment a must (Forklifts of all types, Industrial saws of all types and pneumatic nail guns, screw guns and drills) in the process of accomplishing all of the above processes safely.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School and seven years or more related experience.
Experience in building from scratch proper packing for parts or materials to withstand the handling of all transportation system, while insuring parts and material arrive at destination in required condition required.
Knowledge in Military Standards 129, Military Standard 2073-1 and commercial best practice packaging standards.
Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
