SAIC is looking for a Training, Safety, and QA Architect to join the team supporting our customer, AAR Corp., in support of a Department of State Air Wing mission in Melbourne/Palm Bay, FL.
Duties and Resposibilities
Provide COTS and GOTS and associated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) capable of supporting a wide variety of Air Wing aircraft and mission services.
Design and deliver best value service solutions for safe aircraft within a robust, verifiable and secure environment.
Maintain accurate, validated aircraft and program management data and metrics with robust reporting and drill-down dashboards.
Create an integrated platform promoting ease of use, minimal touch points and operations directed interaction for Department of State, agency and partner stakeholders.
Shall provide support for the development and execution of instructional design, and training developer professional development in creating optimized learning environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential and highly valued in this role.
Responsible for the supervision of the Training, Safety, and QA aspects of the program and of the system safety assessment of the product.
Work closely with systems, software and development engineers to generate all relevant deliverables and safety assessment.
Analyzing customer requirements and generating estimates
Developing plans to meet the program needs
Supervising/Performing component and system-level reliability calculations
Performing system safety integrity level assessment
Performing training needs analysis
Supervising/Performing Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
Generate deliverables from COTS and GOTS data
Support proposal development, cost estimating, Basis of Estimates and schedule
Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. HS Diploma or equivalent with an additional 4+ years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience in developing technical manuals
Understanding of training needs and training media analysis
Experience with system, hardware and material safety design and analysis; including related military standards MIL-STD-882 and DEF-STAN 00-56
Knowledge and experience in reliability, maintainability and availability analysis
Additional cloud platform experience is a big plus
Need to work closely with Product team to architect solutions based on high-level requirements
Ability to be a good leader to coach and mentor developers
Familiar with OSHA Standards for General Industry (i.e., Fall Protection, Hazard Communication, Hoist and Crane Safety) preferred
Familiar with NFPA codes and standards as it relates to, but not limited to, NFPA 70E and Electrical Safety preferred
