The IT Project Manager oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between the Program Manager and the Technical team. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Responsible for ensuring contract requirements are being accomplished with high quality and within required timeframes. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. All projects will be managed in accordance with EPLC, CPIC, and FITARA requirements. Directly supervises team assigned to the task work.
Provide timely and efficient procurement/acquisition support including procurement, acquisition, project management, and administrative support.
Establish and maintain strategies for project/system administration to ensure continuity of business operations and timely recovery in the event of disaster.
Collect, store, and analyze data relevant to projects/systems to perform and report accurate root causal analysis of all related issues and to support trend analysis and forecasting.
Effectively manage the procurement and maintenance of all supplies, materials, and supporting software licenses and service agreements required to ensure projects/systems meet minimum performance and availability requirements.
Ensure effective change control and configuration management of all projects/systems to establish and maintain consistency of each project/system performance and its functional and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life.
In collaboration with the government develop and maintain standard operating procedures for operation, maintenance, and repair of projects/systems.
Ensure all projects/system-related data and documentation is added to and maintained current within Database and Document Library to provide efficient access to a complete and current source of relevant structured and unstructured data.
Ensure the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of production projects/systems.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience
Must be able to meet Public Trust level 5 requirements.

Experience with managing IT projects in any of the following areas: Network Infrastructure; Cyber Security; High Performance Computing; Database Systems; Server and Workstation Development; Enterprise Data Storage and Platforms.
Experience with managing projects in the Federal Government environment, utilizing Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC), Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), and Federal IT Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA) requirements.
Experience with IT planning processes and program/non-program budgeting, IT governance, staff administration, and other administrative functions highly desirable.
Advanced Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Technical Field
Experience with directly supervising staff.
ITIL,PMP or Agile certifications
Five plus years of experience in a healthcare Environment
