looking for a Senior Software Systems Engineer to join our team supporting our
customer the Army Human Resources Command in Fort Knox, KY. The Senior Software Systems Engineer will be
part of a team that is responsible for supporting a comprehensive, custom
designed web based identity and access management solution.
position is for a .NET developer/engineer with experience using C, C++ and C#
to write both web front-end code and server side code, which interacts with all
the systems with which an interface exists.
includes but is not limited to:
Directory, LDAP, Microsoft Exchange Server, Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle,
Documentum and Mainframe.
position also requires knowledge of how to create and call web services.
position requires a basic understanding of how user accounts are created and
maintained within Active Directory and LDAP.
applicant shall be able to demonstrate their ability to interact with a
database to include adding, updating and deleting both tables and records.
position also calls for knowledge of how to operate a Windows 2012 server
running IIS 8.5, along with how to manage registry values.
position will also share the responsibility of providing production support to
users in the field when issues arise that are not solved by the Helpdesk.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology and 5 years’ experience using Microsoft Visual Studio for Web based development or a Master’s degree in a related discipline and 3 years’ experience. Four (4) additional years’ of related experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Demonstrate a high level of competence in object- oriented analysis, design and coding in a .NET server-side environment.
At least 5 years’ experience using a major database (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc...).
Experience in writing T-SQL (select, insert, update, and delete statements).
Comfortable with debugging and analyzing software errors.
Comfortable with object oriented analysis and design.
Comfortable working with and writing HTML and XML.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
CompTIA Security+ Certification required prior to start date.
Computing Environment training or certification valid in ATCTS is required to meet IA requirements (Can be attained after starting work, SAIC will assist).
United States citizen with NO dual citizenship.
DOD Secret Clearance (Day 1 requirement, a minimum interim secret required to start).
Experience developing in C, C++ and C#.
Experience maintaining Active Directory Accounts.
Experience maintaining LDAP Accounts.
Experience maintaining Mainframe accounts.
Experience maintaining a Windows Server.
Experience maintaining IIS 8.x Server and Applications.
