Job Description Summary
Responsible to assist the Executive Managing Director (EMD) in overall development and implementation of managed brokerage approach.
Job Description

May be responsible for one or more of the following:
1) Sales Manager – Assist EMD with, and/or assume direct responsibility for, managing brokers
Recruitment and retention activities
Conduct debriefings to review pipeline and business generation strategies
Annual business plans and time management strategies and tools
Monitor deficits
Provide guidance on navigating company resources
Monitor and discuss broker’s performance with his or her team
Consult brokerage teams on team dynamics and targeted business generating strategies
Responsible for organizing the bi-weekly Emerging Broker Market Meetings
2) Pipeline - oversee the Pipeline function
Assist the Branch ManagerL in conflict identification and resolution process
Provide individual Pipeline and RTS training for brokers and administrative support
Ensure producers file pieline when appropriate by gathering intelligence from market meetings, debriefings, and Reviewing activity reports from Marketing, Consulting, Legal, and Research
Monitor revenue information
3) Single Point of Contact list – manage the area’s list and process
Assist and consult brokers in requesting SPOCs
Use various databases and direct inquiry to investigate the request for conflicts or other impediments
Consult with Branch Manager for approvals. Issue SPOC Alert emails when necessary
Maintain SPOC lists in RTS and in Excel. Review SPOCs at expiration for extension or deletion
Interface with manager of the Global SPOC list
4) Application Development - Interface with Information Technology on systems development to champion the needs of management and brokers in support of managed brokerage

Statistical Methodologies

Broker orientation
Building Insight presentations
6) Stack Plan Committee
Innovations Committee

Junior Enrichment Committee and training program
7) Training – assist in creating and implementing various training programs for brokers and other staff
8) Special Projects as Assigned

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related discipline
10+ years of commercial real estate, leadership, or related experience
Or any similar combination of education and experience
Demonstrated leadership ability and uncompromising ethical standards
Demonstrated business judgment
Demonstrated ability to operate and grow a profitable business unit
Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
