Description:Leads the development of strategic workforce plans that enable the affordable execution of Sustainment and Production contracts at Greenville Site Operations. Defines requirements necessary to deliver capable workforce to Operations. Facilitates hiring, deployment and redeployment of workforce in collaboration with Operations leadership team and Human Resources across multiple programs and projects. Ensures necessary training support is obtained to prepare workforce for deployment to work areas. Collaborates with Industrial Engineering, Program Office, Operations Leadership, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development to define and execute workforce plans. Monitors program performance with Operations leadership, collaborating and adjusting workforce plans to enable favorable cost/schedule performance. Mentors Operations employees in career paths throughout Operations.
Must be a United States (US) citizen or authorized to work in the US. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college
6 years experience in manufacturing
The following skills are desired, but not required:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
Aviation Production and/or Maintenance, Modification, Repair and Overhaul experience
Experience in Industrial Engineering and/or Manufacturing Engineering with an understanding of productivity measures, human resource utilization and how workforce strategy affects cost and schedule performance
Culture of Accountability Champion
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
Demonstrated ability to create, monitor and report data and metrics
Advanced degree in Business or Operations Management
