SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer : Requirements Manager to join our Chantilly, VA based team. The candidate will provide metrics development, collection of customer historical pattern-of-life and customer satisfaction metrics, and related analyses supporting User Engagement Support (UES) effort for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). The UES program provides: Training, Education and Exercise Support; NRO Enterprise Strategic Outreach; and User Engagement Outreach. UES enables users to leverage enterprise capabilities to solve operational and intelligence problems to influence system investment decisions to meet current and future needs. The major activities for UES are to understand user needs and identify capability gaps, deliver focused NRO solutions, provide training and education, provide users with visibility into and opportunities to influence NRO decisions, and to obtain user feedback.


The Systems Engineer: Requirements Manager will assist the mission responsibilities include by are not limited to

  • Seeking Operational Performance Evaluation Support Engineers.
  • The candidate will coordinate and conduct cooperative evaluations against a host of real-world threat radars, communications radios, and emitters.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Edit/format technical reports and operational testing and performance evaluation documents for language and technical content issues and prepare for publication.
  • Address completeness and accuracy of technical information and ensure contents reads logically at the proper level of complexity for the intended audience.
  • Create graphics to illustrate material and effectively convey technical information.
  • Prepare, edit, and coordinate systems engineering support documentation and technical reports in support of operational performance evaluations.
  • Conduct exercise evaluations to include end-to-end assessments of national systems and deliver after- action reports and final technical reports.
  • Conduct field evaluations and engineering test to include set-up and execution of test against operational systems.
  • Identify requirements and ensure that they are followed.



Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 9 + years’ working in an operational environment.
  • Experience supporting IC customers and understanding of their mission/product needs and culture.
  • Experience in SIGINT systems and capabilities.
  • Must be a United States citizen.

Required Clearances:

  • Must possess TOP SECRET SCI (TS//SI//TK) clearances with a polygraph.
