SAIC has a contingent opportunity for a Provisioning Lead. This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located in Charleston, SC.
The Provisioning Lead must be able to understand, develop, and execute life cycle and integrated product support (IPS) programs and processes of major systems. Specifically, the Provisioning Lead must be familiar and have experience with: Provisioning analysis, Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Product Support Analysis (PSA), transportability analysis, and packaging, handling and storage of materiel. The applicant will be required to develop, participate and perform all of the aforementioned analyses in support Ground Combat Vehicle Programs. While conducting these analyses, the applicant will:
Manage development and refinement of provisioning data
Manage development and refinement of logistics support analysis records and reports
Assist with development of packaging, handling, storage and Transportation requirements
Assist with development of obsolescence management processes
The applicant will be required to utilize technical proficiency and experience in provisioning for military equipment under GEIA-STD-0007 to actively participate in various working groups.
The applicant is expected to work with limited to no supervision and will be required to supervise the performance of other personnel and projects.
Travel is estimated at approximately 10% of time
Secret security clearance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related experience or Master’s degree and 4+ years of experience. Applicable experience of 12+ years may be substituted for degree requirements.
Experience and understanding of provisioning data development and GEIA-STD-0007.
Understanding of obsolescence management and diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS).
Experience with Raytheon EAGLE, MMIS, PowerLogJ, and COMPASS.
Understanding of acquisition logistics and Integrated Logistics Support for major Department of Defense program.
