About the role

Team Leader for ensuring the supply and collection of materials from Engineers and external parties.

  • Manage the Careline function to ensure high levels of service.
  • Raising engineer direct Order and dealing with engineering stock queries on bahalf of NGM.  
  • DODS ordering is a full time job that requires cover at all times within working hours  
  • Secondary to provide Admin Support for the Retained Organisation within Logistics. 
  • To include management of the site through room bookings, diary managemnet, raising non stock orders and day to day admin duties. To support both the Procurement Specialist and Logistic Specialist in driving value out of the NRB asset supply chain through, asset supply chain innovation, strategy and management and liaising with National Grid Global Procurement
  • To support the effective procurement, use of asset re-use policies, refurbishment and disposal of all assets through their lifecycle, including effective distribution within the supply chain and definition and management of warranty claims.
  • To support the effective reclamation and disposal of all assets through their lifecycle, in line with relevant technical and commercial requirements.

About you

  • Experience of working in an office environment and evidence of liaising with stakeholders
  • GCSE Level or equivalent
  • Proficent in Microsot packages.
  • SAP systems knowledge is desirable
