Sr. Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst

Job Description:
This position will require working on a program team in direct support of Program Business Management requirements for the Space Product Lines. The candidate must be able to work in a fast pace environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements. The ability to learn processes quickly and apply knowledge to unique situations will be critical to performing successfully in the position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proposal cost and price estimating
  • Align with PM, Contracts, and IPT’s to prepare budgets and baseline new programs in accordance with Raytheon policies
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) analysis, maintenance and reporting
  • Prepare, analyze and review EACs with appropriate management levels
  • Prepare accurate bookings, sales, material, staffing and profit forecasts
  • Generation of weekly/monthly labor and material financial reports
  • Support Integrated Baseline Review, Internal and Joint Surveillance Reviews as needed
  • Mentor, support, and train new financial analysts
  • Prepare Gate 4 and Gate 5 artifacts and support program reviews
  • Support contracts by providing information for customer inquiries such as program actuals or expenditure profiles
  • This job will require working on a program team in direct support of Program Business Management requirements. The candidate must be willing to communicate and ask questions and work with other functional organizations to accomplish team objectives. Able to work in a fast pace environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements. Ability to learn processes quickly and apply knowledge to unique situations.


Required Skills:

  • Participate in the control of costs and schedules on contracts.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a professional level financial analyst role
  • Strong written and verbal skills including demonstrated ability to succinctly present complex information to management
  • Knowledge of earned value management and Estimate at Completes (EACs)
  • Must be flexible and willing to deal with a wide range of work assignments
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work through problems with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize workload
  • Knowledge of key financial systems and tools (SAP, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize concurrent requirements and accommodate numerous stakeholders
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.


Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge of SAP/APEX Managed Programs, Finance Module & Business Warehouse, PRISM or similar system.
  • Experience with Business Planning Systems; RPLAN
  • Understanding of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize workload
  • Initiative and drive to resolve issues and communicate solutions effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize concurrent requirements and accommodate numerous stakeholders

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in a Business field (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
