Position:  856-Budget Analyst Type:  Contractor Location:  Dayton, Ohio

TI is currently looking for a Budget Analyst in Dayton, OH to support ISR Sensors and FMS program managers in budget planning, budget analysis, variance analysis, and provide guidance on maintaining budget consistency.  Candidate shall have previous experience using DoD operating and support cost databases (e.g. Air Force Total Ownership Cost (AFTOC) or the Reliability & Maintainability Information System (REMIS)) to assist in the budgeting process.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Budget Analyst will conduct analysis of current and future budgets to provide reports, briefs, and/or consolidated data view or outlays.
  • Conduct contract closeouts, current and future risk assessments with respect to funding and providing brief(s) with alternatives to support leadership meetings and review.
  • Consolidate and review of cost, schedule, and performance data and providing graphs or briefs to support program management reviews.
  • Have familiarity with unliquidated obligations/funding
  • Develop briefing material to support communication of funding requirements with senior leadership.
  • Perform analysis and briefing of monthly reporting of execution of program resources
  • Support all phases of the IT budgeting process, verify accuracy of financial data

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Minimum of 10 years of relevant Financial DoD experience.

·         At least 5 years’ experience Budget Experience DoD

·         Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

  • Must have experience in use of Government Financial and other Systems such as: Commanders Resource Integration System (CRIS), General Accounting Finance System (GAFS), Automated Business Service System (ABSS), Defense Travel System (DTS), FMSuite, Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS), Enterprise Business Systems (EBS), Defense Transaction Interface Module Systems (DTIMS), Comprehensive Cost and Requirement Systems (CCaR), Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS), Joint Personnel Adjudication Systems (JPAS)

 

EDUCATION

PhD + 2 Years’ experience; MS/MA +4 Years’ experience; BS/BA +6 Years’ experience; HS +10 Years’ experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

US Citizenship is required.  Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain / retain the designated Government clearance.
