Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control - Orlando is seeking a creative, technically versatile software engineer to join our F-35 Electro-Optical Targeting System (EOTS) software team. F-35 EOTS Continuous Capability Development and Delivery (C2D2) Phase 2.3 program includes Block 4 algorithm and software upgrades (Multi-Target Image Track, Multi-Ship Infrared Search & Track, Air-Ground Target track, Ground Moving Target Indicator, and Inertial Tracking) to support deployment of additional capabilities to the fleet. Experience with embedded real-time software algorithm development and implementation with C++ programming using VxWorks/Linux operating systems is required. Candidate should have experience or familiarity in some/all of the following technology areas: linear algebra, stochastic systems, optimal estimation theory, Kalman Filter applications, kinematics, and rotating coordinate systems. Customer interface experience and good communication skills are desired. Candidate will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software life cycle. Individual is expected to take ownership of assigned tasks since the position offers opportunities for growth and understanding of Fire Control system. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:

Ability to obtain Secret clearance issued by DOD
Linux OS
Embedded, real-time
Interface with Systems and Electrical engineering for algorithmic design
VxWorks real-time operating system (RTOS)
