About the role

Manage on a day to day basis the MARC activity, operations, resource allocation and third parties used in the performance of the services provided by the MARC. To supervise a number of staff on a day-to-day basis, involved in the provision of logistical services, e.g. receipt, storage, picking, distribution, return, and maintenance of goods and materials. The job holder will ensure that all relevant legislation, policies and procedures are followed and changes implemented. Under the direction of the Logistics Co-ordinator, ensure that logistics personnel are deployed effectively, giving clear direction so that they understand their individual roles and responsibilities.

About you

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to operate departmental systems.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory, organisational and administrative skills.
  • SHES Qualification
  • Manual Handling Training
  • WAMITAB or equivalent is desirable
