As a Senior Test Engineer , at either the system, subsystem or component level, will contribute to a team of engineers in the accomplishment of test tasks in an iterative development environment; supporting I&T assignments involving definition of test and verification requirements, I&T plans and sequences relative to complex software and resolve conflicting issues. The candidate will participate in I&T readiness reviews and program design reviews in addition to conducting tests, which include collaborating with other teams and disciplines.
Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizens with a current SSBI clearance
There is the potential for external candidates to receive a sign-on bonuses of up to $10,000 for hires with an active Secret clearance if hired on this requisition.
Required Experience, Knowledge and/or Skills:
•4+ years demonstrated engineering experience
•Test experience on a large government software development contract at the system, subsystem or component level
•Direct experience in creating test cases, plans and procedures
•Hands on console experience in executing test procedures at the system, subsystem or component level
•Ability to help analyze system problems and communicate those issues to software and systems engineers
•Use of Linux OS
Desired Experience, Knowledge and/or Skills (a plus not required):
•Python or Perl scripting experience
•Hands on console experience integrating software
•Experience in an Agile or DevOps development environment
•Experience with automated testing, particularly using Cucumber or Gherkin
•Experience using DOORS
•Experience in Command and Telemetry, Mission Planning and/or Flight Dynamics
•Domain experience preferred
Bachelor degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
