Responsible for supporting all aspects of the of the USARCENT Video Teleconferencing operations located at Patton Hall.

  • Will be considered the Subject Matter Expert for the Multi-Conference Unit (MCU) servers, bridge, and over 70 VTC suites.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of equipment such as unit, location, configuration and POC for each piece of equipment.
  • Will schedule and operate the conference bridging for suites using (MCU) CISCO MSE 8000, and provide circuit validation and all other required functions on the bridge and endpoints.
  • Will update of software and firmware versions on all VTC equipment and test updated equipment to validate proper functionality and operations.
  • Responsible for assisting users with conduction a VTC when required.
  • Will be able to properly load, change and configure cryptographic equipment as required in support of the VTC equipment.


3-5 years of directly related experience supporting network operations.

Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
