Senior Logistics warehouseman – SSA
Receives, checks in, and issues materials in support of military supply activities. Responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files, preparation of required documents and reports. Maintains inventories and completes records. Ensures proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all classes of supply to support mission needs. Under general directions performs warehousing activities and assists with assigning work priorities.
Provides knowledge and frontline leadership to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of services. Evaluates service execution for compliance to contract, schedule, cost budgets, and quality. Advises management
team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors in reference to scope of work. Ensures team is adhering to safety rules and procedures. Requires high school diploma and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in military warehousing operations.
Current knowledge and experience
GCSS-Army (Global Combat Support System)
SARSS (Standrard Army Retail Supply System)
Must have or be able to obtain a NAC-I.
Additional preferred requirements:
Knowledge and/or experience in the following
Experience in the TMR (Transportation Movement request) process
Level 6 RFID Tags (Radio Frequency Identification Tag)
LIW (Logistics Information Warehouse) system
Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 4 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
