Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:  
  • Provide expertise in analyzing all aspects of the strategic targeting process, to include policy, strategic target selection procedures, and targeting guidance for the employment of operational forces 
  • Analyze current targeting and joint fires processes, then develop recommended innovative approaches for TTPs, to optimize efficiency, speed and effectiveness 
  • Assist in analyzing all aspects of the strategic targeting process, to include policy, strategic target selection procedures, and targeting guidance for the employment of operational forces 
  • Support operational planning by conducting research to identify and integrate lethal and non- lethal fires into the USINDOPACOM targeting process 
  • Evaluate current operations plans, to identify and make recommendations regarding the mitigation of capability gaps, considering operational performance metrics 

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 
  • Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
  • Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret (TS)
  • Clearance Level To Obtain: TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelors (B.S or B.A) Degree 
  • Six years of DoD experience developing, editing, evaluating, and managing technical documentation, to include DoD program material and doctrine 
DESIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
  • Master's Degree 
  • Serve as the primary technical manager for testing and assessment in the areas of: - PLANNING AND ANALYSIS SUPPORT - INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING 
  • Ten years of progressively complex experience in DoD planning or doctrine related roles 
  • Five years of experience working in the DoD Joint Fires functional area
