As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will provide project management for first-of-a-kind Research & Development efforts for Space Protection Programs. Position will serve as a strong foundation for continued development as a project engineer. Support will begin with project management of smaller IRAD and CRAD projects before moving onto larger projects to manage.

Responsibilities
• Manage research, design, integration, and test projects
• Work with other engineering disciplines to deliver unique solutions
• Prepare for and participate in major customer reviews: i.e. SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PSR,
• Utilize project management techniques including EVM, Agile, and Waterfall

US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college/university.

Demonstrated experience leading engineering projects in a lead role

Demonstrated experience working on engineering teams.

US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Desired Skills:
Experience preparing and presenting at engineering design reviews

Experience with development of system and program requirements

Basic understanding of spacecraft subsystems (e.g. avionics, propulsion, communications, guidance and control, etc.)

Understanding/Experience with engineering project lifecycles

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Small Satellite experience a plus

Hands on hardware build and testing a plus
