Description:In this position, you will be responsible for supplier source selection, purchase order placement and administration in support of PAC-3 Program. Duties include negotiations, documentation, purchase order maintenance and interfacing with functional organizations. Develops subcontract specifications, work statements and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment and services. Prepares bid packages, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions,
deletions or modifications to subcontracts.
Experience in a subcontract management or supply chain
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, or Outlook)
-Demonstrated working knowledge of Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP/P2P/PO folders etc.)
-Ability to engage supplier senior executives as necessary to resolve issues
-Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
-Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills
-Strong Problem solving skills
-Self motivated and demonstrated sense of urgency
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Ability to work with all levels of management
-Previous experience in negotiating proposals that met the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold
-Excellent business acumen and ability to make business based decisions
