Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities for this Position
General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for an NWS Program Support Specialist. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation’s fundamental defense services on the NWS program. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
The support specialist is responsible for providing contract/program cost and/or schedule management and analysis for the NWS program
The analyst will develop NWS program time-phased cost and/or schedule baseline within the contract parameters in conjunction with the NWS program team
The analyst will analyze NWS program performance (historical and predictive), monitor the contract/program Estimate at Complete and/or schedule completion date, and make recommendations to NWS program management and program leads
The analyst is an integral part of the NWS program team, gathering and organizing data for reviews with appropriate engineer(s), IPT lead(s), and CAM(s) in support of the NWS program
Assists in the development of a time-phased budget and/or schedule to meet all contract and program objectives
Collects and updates NWS program performance data, prepares and analyzes historical and predictive measures, and reviews results and recommendations with NWS program manager and program leads
Maintains and statuses the NWS program schedule and records, compiles reports, graphs, charts, and related data in support of the NWS program
Identifies and analyzes the program critical path and driving paths to schedule specific milestones
Makes recommendations, coordinates, and identifies resources required to meet defined NWS program requirements and reviews results with NWS program management and leads
Contributes to discussions related to the root cause analyses and corrective actions and to tactical planning for completion of NWS program tasking
Assists in preparation of NWS program review documents and customer required documents
Coordinates contract/program Estimate At Complete (EAC), risk and opportunity, and Management Reserve data with Finance organization as input into business financial commitments
Updates program time-phased budget and/or schedule and required documents associated with internal and contract changes and assists in formulating recommendations for corrective actions such as schedule revisions, staffing adjustments, funds allocations, and work environments
Tracks Who Charged reports, PA Task ID updates, WLF/HFT updates, IMS and CAM book updates, and PPM Dashboard updates, if applicable.
Prepares timely, accurate NWS program review documents and can be a delegate to present such data in the absence of the NWS program manager
Prepares timely, accurate customer required documents and reviews with NWS program management and department heads
Updates NWS program time-phased budget and/or schedule and associated documents to ensure the latest contract modifications and related requirements are incorporated

Experience with program requirments across planning, development, and production phases is desiredDomain knowledge in engineering disciplines is desired
