Job Summary
 
The Remote Processing Station Operator employs industry standard systems analysis techniques to manage and control supply systems processes. Designs and develops information retrieval using standard reports generators, structured query language processors (QLP) and other program applications. Monitors Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) terminals for proper operation. Carries out all duties in accordance with DynCorp International ISO 9001 Quality and Safety Standards.
 
Principal Accountabilities
  • Assists users in requesting automated system access to Enterprise Solution-Supply (ES-S), Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS), Web-Based Supply Discrepancy Report (WEBSDR), or any other supply related supply system. 
  • Develops and implements system security policy and procedures to prevent unauthorized system access and processing. 
  • Operates the Remote Processing Station (RPS) and remote terminal hardware under ES-S.
  • Obtains reports, schedules and requests from accounts. Establish, maintain and submit request to host account thru existing automated web based utilities. Maintain, update and audit work orders.
  • Writes and debugs programs to satisfy special project requirements. Writes and processes Query Language Programs (QLP) for reports and listings not available through established standard reports. Develops and maintains Microsoft Access and excel applications supporting special project requirements.
  • Troubleshoots and correct ES-S and other web based supply programs.
  • Ensures all accountable documents output from the RPS are controlled during all hours of operation.
  • Distributes reports, listings, and accountable documents to applicable site functions.
  • Works with host network support help desk to ensure communications are functioning properly.
  • Provides analysis/metrics support when required.
  • Main focal point to receive, prepare and submit fix record alterations to the host account via web based utility.
  • Performs other duties as directed.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and its associated office programs. Knowledgeable with PC applications, CD-ROM, Local Area Network (LAN). 
  • Knowledge with host base operations, schedulers, security and main RPS processes.
  • Familiar with the Discoverer and Logistics, Installations and Mission Support - Enterprise View (LIMS-EV) programs.
  • US Secret Security Clearance required.

Experience & Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum four (4) years’ experience in RPSO duties.
  • Experience with DISA Multi-Host Internet Access Portal (MIAP) and Enterprise Solution-Supply (ESS) is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret Air Force Supply Policy and Procedure Directives (23- series).

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Works in normal office environment.
  • Ability to adjust to short notice work schedule changes during extenuating circumstances.

Travel

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
