Job Description:

We have a high visibility opportunity as an IPT Lead for PATRIOT Radar. You will be responsible for the overall Operations activities associated with manufacturing at the Integrated Air Defense Center. In this role, you’re an integral member of the Operations Team, responsible for managing the Korean PATRIOT Radar Refurbishment Program within Raytheon IDS (Integrated Defense Systems) Operations. You’ll bring to the table a skill set that includes managing the production of a high visibility program supporting a world renowned product line. The IPT (Integrated Product Team) Lead supports the Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Radar Production programs. This role provides professionals with opportunities to grow their skills in operations management, technical operations, business communications, and leadership. You will be responsible for coordinating with the Program Office, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Work Centers, Supply Chain and other Cross Business Teams (CBT) to ensure successful on time integration of the material and labor efforts necessary to support manufacturing and contract schedules.

Drive all phases of Operations Management by working within the Integrated Product Team/Cross Business Team (IPT/CBT) environment to ensure effective execution of the Patriot Radar Program. Responsibilities of this role include coordinating the program schedules with Engineering and CBTs. Daily interaction with other CBT’s in IDS to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. Other focus areas of this position include cost, quality, delivery, safety, and identification/implementation of continuous improvement opportunities that are critical performance criteria for success.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Operations/Manufacturing working in an Integrated Product Team/Cross Business Team (IPT/CBT) environment or equivalent
  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Desired Skills:

  • Understanding of MRP and Shop Floor Management Tools (PRISM, VM)
  • Production Control
  • Experience working in a Matrix Organization with multiple customers
  • Knowledge of aerospace /defense systems technology domains and manufacturing
  • Proven experience in developing manufacturing strategies and proposals
  • Proven ability to prepare and present reports and briefings
  • Experience in developing, supporting and maintaining strong relationships w/respective program IBT lead/team as well as end using customer
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with transition of programs from design to manufacturing
  • Experience in program planning, budgeting, and tracking to cost and schedule
  • Experience with EVMS and Risk & Opportunity Management
  • Experience with latest Raytheon EXIM requirements

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (STEM or Business)
