This position will lead a Raytheon IIS enterprise Computer Hardware commodity team in developing a commodity strategy, managing a Preferred Supplier List and the ongoing management of key suppliers. This position will report into the IIS Director of Strategic Sourcing and Partnering as well as the Strategic Enterprise Aligned Commodity (SEAC) organization. This role will require detailed analysis of Raytheon wide spend, negotiation of pricing, terms and conditions, understanding the technology roadmap of the assigned commodity and maintaining a preferred supplier list which meets Raytheon’s technology, performance and cost requirements. The candidate will lead a cross functional and cross business team to meet the following objectives:
•Evolve commodity strategy and preferred supplier list to align with technology roadmaps and market conditions
•Negotiate long term agreement pricing and complex terms and conditions
•Issuing FAR compliant requests for proposal
•Manage supplier and commodity risks including financial risks, supply constraints, competitive risks and regulatory risks
•Documenting agreements in compliance with FAR requirements and Raytheon command media
•Lead a cross functional business team and manage the team within an assigned budget
•Increase preferred suppliers performance of key metrics (supplier performance and material price reductions)
•Work closely with Raytheon businesses and programs to find and develop opportunities for material price reductions
•Increase agreement coverage and purchase order execution automation

Requirements:
•10+ years’ experience in supply chain management or related field
•Supplier management experience and ability to improve supplier service levels
•Supplier selection/de-selection, evaluation and supply base rationalization
•Highly Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
•Demonstrated team leadership skills
•Strong project/program management skills
•Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization
•Candidate should be self-sufficient and require minimal oversight
•Exceptional collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence at the highest levels across Raytheon
Desired Skills:
•Experience developing high impact commodity strategies
•Experience in procurement and a demonstrated ability to manage complex terms and conditions
•Ability to develop and issue compliant RFPs and perform price analysis
•Understanding of Enterprise Sourcing and Performance Excellence (ESPX™) Process
•Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems
•Understanding of Cost/Price Analysis requirements
•Experience with Raytheon sourcing agreement process and tools (EPAD & SRM)
•Advanced Supply Chain commercial best practice and an ability to adapt to the Aerospace & Defense market
•Firm understanding of FAR and DFAR requirements
Required Education (including Major):
•Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor Degree = 8 years of additional applicable experience)
