Job Description:

Raytheon is seeking a talented Sr. Software Engineer to join an existing team to develop modifications and expansions to an existing engineering tool suite. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.
Key responsibilities for the qualified candidate may include:

·Defining software tasks and SCRUM development schedule
·Software architecture and design
·Software development on a full stack Java web application product

Required Skills:

·Must have a BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline and minimum 4 years experience with Java, MVC, JSP, relational databases and web services OR possess the equivalence of 12 years direct experience in lieu of a degree
·Must have experience with Linux, the STS/Eclipse IDE and XML
·Must have experience with STS/Eclipse, JavaScript (including JQuery), AJAX
·Must have demonstrated problem solving skills
·Must have demonstrated oral and written communication skills
·Must be able to perform all aspects of the software development lifecycle to include requirements definition and design, Use Case development and software development
·Must have a current DODI 8570.1-M IAT Level II (minimum) certification

Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance are required.

Desired Skills:

·Experience with Hibernate, Tomcat, Spring, HTML, AJAX, CSS, Mercurial
·Experience with DevOps methodologies and tool sets
· ITIL Foundations certified
