The Procurement Manager for CSM & GIS will be responsible for leading a 25+ buyer organization that is geographically distributed across the country. This position can be located in Richardson TX, El Segundo CA, Dulles VA, Indianapolis IN, or Aurora CO, and will report to the IIS Procurement Senior Manager.

This manager will be responsible for aligning procurement support to meet fluctuating demand and changing priorities across the two mission areas. They will be tasked to focus on driving significant process improvement across the procurement value stream and integrate with Compliance, MPM’s, and Supply Chain Planning, as well as others. Another key focus of this role will be to take the 2018 CPSR observations and implement corrective actions and enhanced training to continue to develop the procurement workforce in IIS.

The manager will be responsible for executing Procurement strategies that align with Mission Area Supply Chain and Program strategies supporting both the capture and execution of business. Strategies will focus on improving our competitive advantage through lowering costs, improving cycle times, and maintaining compliance to all FAR / DFAR requirements and IIS Procurement policies and procedures.

Additionally, this manager will be responsible for leading supply chain efforts in the SCM Alliance Partner program.


  • Knowledge of procurement processes
  • 10+ years of applicable work experience in Procurement or related field ideally in a gov't contractor environment, similar to Raytheon
  • Proven ability to successfully manage a multi-location diverse team
  • Supplier Management experience
  • Strong understanding of Government FAR/DFARS Regulations, Public Law, Import/Export requirements, and procurement processes
  • Proven ability to be an Influential communicator to achieve buy in for new ideas
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Must be organized with ability to adequately plan, prioritize and coordinate multiple projects
  • Proven ability to be a role model for open and honest communications
  • Demonstrated trust and respect for peers and teammates
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, SCM or related field.

  • Procurement process expertise
  • Ability to collaborate and operate effectively with a virtual team
  • Sound leadership, problem solving and critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity and ambiguity
  • Raytheon Subcontract, MPM, and/or Procurement Certification
  • SEAC or Commodity Strategy Experience/Knowledge
  • Raytheon Six Sigma (R6?)
