Description:Perform in a dual-role as contract administration and proposal preparation within a dedicated program area. Assignments will range from developing, planning and scheduling proposals, to compiling cost, schedule and technical elements from the functional departments. Continue through the process with proposal preparation, contract formation, and internal approval to release the proposal(s). Support factfinding and negotiation process with the contracting officer and customer auditor. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. Negotiate and administer the resultant contract(s) in accordance with LM policies and procedures. General contract administration duties include maintaining contractual awards and modifications in accordance with the FAR, DFARS, acquisition policies, and unique customer clauses. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. Candidate should be able to handle multiple assignments and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will be subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a current top secret clearance is preferred.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have the ability to obtain a secret level clearance after hire.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience / combined education.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation(s), (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements, (DFARS)
• Federal contracting experience with DoD
Desired Skills:
• Experience with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and skilled at management of negotiated RFPs.
• Fundamental knowledge of business acumen and principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
• Attention to detail
• Energetic, enthusiasm and self motivator
