Description:Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance. Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields. Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Investigate root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous improvement. Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles, Work Measurements and Time Standards, Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Simulation Modeling, Cost Analysis and Estimating. This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelors or Masters program pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 3.0 GPA
Understanding of classical Industrial Engineering skills and techniques
Experienced with Microsoft Office (POWERPOINT, ACCESS, WORD, EXCEL).
Demonstrated knowledge of industrial engineering processes
Cost reduction experience
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts & techniques, Pro-E or equivalent CAD s/w, tool design, electronic packaging design, and MRS concepts.
