Navigation and Landing Systems Finance is seeking a talented Program Controls Analyst to join the finance team of Joint Precision And Landing Systems ACAT-1 programs, in Fullerton, CA.
As a Sr. Program Controls Analyst, the candidate will be expected to provide value-added program financial analysis support to the Program Business Office of assigned programs. Additionally, the candidate is expected to quickly develop advanced knowledge of all program control tactics; and, ensure ongoing communication with Program leadership as well as Finance organization relative to all program financial performance issues. The successful candidate should have the ability to manage financial requirements in a dynamic, fast paced multiple contract environment. The candidate should be able to work independently and take initiative to resolve program issues.
Primary responsibilities will include maintaining total project cost excellence on contracts. Maintain Earned Value (EV) requirements, monthly CDRL reporting, Joint Surveillance Audit preparation and data calls, ad-hoc program analysis, generate responses to DCMA/PMA213 action requests and forecasting Estimates to Complete (EAC). Generate internal as well as external reports, graphs, analysis, etc. Monitor costs and manpower on a weekly basis ensuring that actuals are within budget and charged to the correct charge numbers. Process cost transfers as required. Perform other financial analysis on the contract as requested by the Program Office and others.
In addition, this role will be responsible for providing EVMS guidance and support to the program, compliant with the program instruction, internal EVM policy and 10255. The candidate will be required to stay up to date on EVM policies and 10255 and help guide changes to the program process as need be. Facilitate successful deployment of the EVMS toolset including MPM EV, PMX, SAP/APEX and will analyze, identify and establish the best approach for reporting/analysis during contract setup and execution. The individual will work closely with multifunctional and cross business teams including partnering with the program business managers and the RTN EVMS team.
