SAIC has a contingent job opportunity for a Regional Control Center - SWA manager to support an Army customer in Kuwait. This position is contingent upon contract award.


The RCC-SWA Manager will provide daily operational guidance, support, and management within the SWA Theater of Operations for respective site or operations. Oversee develop and recommend improvements to current common practices and procedures, and implementation of new elements and services. Ensure compliance with the approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) across all functional areas within operational control. Maintain situational awareness on all major projects and personnel and develop and recommend new management tools and processes to improve operation capabilities. Provide guidance, direction, and support for the resolution of difficult and complex issues as they arise. Inform and update the COR and Government Leadership on all major issues and concerns on the day to day operations. Serves as the OMDAC-SWACA program Chief Engineer, providing technical guidance to the project manager and the government on technology trends. Serve as the Site Leader for the RCA-SWA. 







  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience preferably in Computer Science or MIS, IS, Engineering or related field.
  • One-year related experience can be substituted for one year of education up to a maximum of a 4-year bachelor's degree.
  • Applicants should have at least 5 recognized certifications in the IT/Cyber/Network domain,  i.e. MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CEH, CompTIA A+, Security+, CWNP, etc. 

Required Certifications include:

  • IAM Level III Block or higher
  • PMP
  • Any appropriate Computing Environment (CE) certification for the operating system(s) and/or security related tools/devices they support as required by their employing organization.

Years of Experience:

  • 18+ years of experience in a broad range of assignments in technical tasks directly related to the network operations.
  • Experience with DISA Circulars and DoD IA documents.




Desired Skills:

  • Excellent written and communications skills
  • ITIL
  • Managed network with >8,000 nodes
  • Strong leadership skills including managing a workforce of at least 30 employees
  • Experience in Change Management
  • Prior experience managing in- theater team of technical engineers in support of the US Armed Forces specific to the Southwest Asia Cyber Center (SWACC)
