SAIC is seeking a Flight Operations Analyst on the OMES II contract at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The position is located in Lanham, MD.
Prepare as a Spacecraft Systems Engineer for J2 Launch Campaign on the Mission Operations Support Team (MOST)
Manage Post Launch Tests (PLTs)
Review all new PLTs and updates
Support the Mission Operations Support Team (MOST) in development of ground/spacecraft pre-launch processes and procedures.
Interact with the government spacecraft subject matter experts (SME) as well as vendor SMEs
Interact with MOST Spacecraft/Instrument Systems Engineers to understand the overall mission purpose.
Develop and test command procedures, telemetry pages, and other products derived from vendor provided documentation
Develop test procedures and test execution for system level, end-to-end tests with the spacecraft.
Support mission readiness activities including mission rehearsals, mission timeline development, and post launch test development.
Support launch, including shift work, for instrument and spacecraft LEO&A activities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of related experience
Experience with multiple S/C Subsystems (ADCS, CDH, COMM, EPDS, Thermal, FSW)
Experience with launch campaigns and spacecraft operations
